Carlton Hotel to remain closed for renovations
It has been confirmed that the Carlton Hotel, iconic address on the Croisette, is to remain closed untilMay 2023. No doubt in time for the Cannes Film Festival.
Closed for renovations
The extensive renovations to this IHG(Intercontinental Hotel Group)hotel have been in progress since last year with the original intention to keep the hotel open during the refurbishment by remodeling one wing at a time. The decision to now keep the hotel closed is a logical one and means that work can proceed at full speed and ensure that the re-opening of this Cannes landmark will be more spectacular than ever.
What about Carlton Beach Club?
The beach restaurant, which was re-modeled last winter, will remain open during this period. If the results of the new beach décor are anything to go by, we can’t wait to see the revamping of the Carlton Hotel.
