A look back at the 2022 trade shows organised by RX

As the RX organised market, MIPIM 2023, approaches it is an opportune moment to look back on 2022 and reflect on the challenges presented to the organisation in 2023.

The 2022 RX markets in a few numbers:

Combined numbers for MIPIM, MIPTV, CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL, MIPCOM, MAPIC and the Esports Bar (relocated to Paris from 2023) brought:

  • + 6,700 exhibitors
  • + 350,000 visitors
  • 120 nationalities
  • + 235,000 m2 of stands

In 2022 :

MIPIM brought together more than 20,000 participants, 2,400 exhibitors and more than 80 countries.

MIPTV + 8,000 participants, 150 speakers, 200 stands and + 2,500 buyers

The Cannes Yachting Festival + 54,000 visitors, 600 exhibitors and 650 boats

MIPCOM + 12,000 participants, + 350 stands, + 3,000 buyers and + 110 countries.

Finally the MAPIC + 4,500 participants, 210 exhibitors and 75 countries.

RX’s goals for 2023 are clear:

In 2023 RX has 3 major challenges for the 5 markets:

  • Sustain the growth of each exhibition.
  • Further develop CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) at the heart of the markets.
  • Cultivate the magic of Cannes in order to bring it to life for each visitor whilst simultaneously controlling costs in hotels, restaurants…

The Button Design team is delighted to have participated in all these exhibitions and we look forward to meeting existing as well as new clients at MIPIM, which will take place from March 14 to 17 at the Palais des Festivals.
