Equator Stand - MIPIM Cannes
Equator is a firm of architects located in Stockholm, Sweden. Their work is based on clear ethics and focuses on sustainable development while respecting social, environmental, and economic values.
Each year, they entrust us with creating their MIPIM stand. They always want a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The stand design over the years...
At MIPIM 2022, Equator celebrated its 20th anniversary of participating in the Mipim markets. We were therefore pleased to have been responsible for decorating their stand from the very beginning.
For several years, the design centered around an oversized reproduction of an image from one of their projects. Although the visual changed annually, the décor, including the custom benches, remained the same.
At MIPIM 2024, the company focused on sustainability by re-using pallets they had made for a workshop at the Venice Biennale. Then, after being used for various installations in Stockholm, the pallets were assembled to create a large corner bench and attached vertically to the side wall. LED lighting discreetly highlighted the structure.
In the end, the concept was a great success with visitors. All elements were stored for reassembly at MIPIM 2025.
