We announced in a previous article the triumph of the city of Cannes, elected best European destination for festivals and events at the #WorldTravelAwards. As a result Cannes was also shortlisted in the category for the best world destination….. the results have been announced !

EUROPEAN CHAMPION & VICE WORLD CHAMPION !

We are proud to inform you that in addition to the European title the city of Cannes has come second on the world podium, just behind first prize winner Cape Town ! An immensely proud moment for our city, for our Mayor, the citizens of Cannes and of course for Button Design.

The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès also showed its pride for the city by marking the award on a giant banner alongside the reveal of its new branding.

Fittingly, the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès has a new identity. The new logo is inspired by the iconic image of the steps of the Palais itself and the red carpet that is recognised throughout the world as the venue for so many famous events.
