Alula Stand - MIPCOM Cannes 2022
Film Alula is a film agency established in 2020 by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). Its mandate is to promote and support international, regional, and local film and TV production in the AlUla region, an area of outstanding natural and cultural significance in northwest Saudi Arabia. Thanks to its variety of historic locations and untouched landscapes, Film Alula strives to become a world-class film hub.
Design details
For their first presence at Mipcom, Film Alula chose Button Design to create and implement their stand. The central feature is a 3.50m x 2.50m indoor LED wall displaying magnificent images of the landscapes proposed for film shoots.
Additionally, inspiration was taken from the stepped motif in their brand guidelines. This design feature was applied to a custom-made overhead fascia and echoed in the wood inlay of the carpet.
Furthermore, strong photographic images were placed on large panels to create a semi-private lounge area. Finally, 3D cut-out logos on oak-finish walls contrasted with the clean lines of the white furniture, completing the modern and visually striking design.
