At the WAICF (World Artificial Intelligence Cannes Festival) 2025, Hivenet presented its new Policloud project for the first time. The unique data center sits inside a specially adapted shipping container. The first unit will be installed in Cannes and then deployed in other cities.
Hivenet unveiled the container during a ceremony attended by Mr. David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for AI and Digital Affairs, and David Gurlé, founder of Hivenet.
The booth design showcased the Policloud concept. We used images of clouds and shipping containers to illustrate and highlight the project clearly and visually.
The focus on low impact and sustainability attracted strong attention from delegates. According to the client’s feedback, they were thrilled with their presence at the event! https://www.linkedin.com/posts/hivenetdistributedcloud
