Hivenet is a new company that has set itself the mission of gathering unused computing resources through distributed computing technologies and building a cloud that is sustainable, sovereign, affordable, secure, and private.
Design details
For the WAICF (World Artificial Intelligence Cannes Festival) 2025, Hivenet presented their new Policloud project for the first time. The unique data center is housed in a specially adapted shipping container, the first of which will be installed in Cannes before being deployed in other cities.
The container was unveiled during a ceremony attended by Mr. David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, Clara Chappaz, Minister Delegate for AI and Digital Affairs, and David Gurlé, founder of Hivenet.
The design of the booth featured the Policloud concept using images of clouds and shipping containers to showcase and highlight the project.
