A few weeks ago, Cannes was voted Europe’s best destination for festivals and events. Monday, November 8, UNESCO recognised the city of Cannes as a “creative city” under the category of cinema.

The Georges Méliès University Campus, dedicated to the written and audiovisual professions, the Cannes Cineum multiplex or the future Musée International du Cinéma et du Festival de Cannes; tous ces projets, réalisés et/ou à venir, ont permis aujourd’hui à notre ville d’intégrer le réseau des “villes créatives” au côté de Rome, Sydney ou Bombay. Cannes is definitely positioning itself on an international scale in the audiovisual sector.
