Reed Midem, the organisers of Mipcom which will take place in October, have announced changes to the annual autumn television market format. As a result of a number of key exhibitors cancelling their presence this year the market has been rebranded Mipcom Rendezvous Cannes and will encompass MipJunior and Cannes Series.
Market activities will take place in the Palais des Festivals with a new look open plan layout including privatised lounges available in place of exhibition stands.
A digital on-line event, Mipcom Online +, will run from October 5 in parallel with the physical event.
Constant changes in the Covid-19 situation together with evolving quarantine and travel restrictions mean that we may well see further changes to this event.
